About this project
This project involved full ground clearance followed by the construction of a 25m² single-storey rear extension, completed under challenging limited access conditions.
A major structural alteration was carried out, removing the entire rear wall of the property and installing steel beams and columns on pad foundations to create a wide, open space.
The extension features a vaulted ceiling with rooflights and a traditional tiled lean-to roof, bringing in plenty of natural light. Internally, this enabled the creation of a spacious new kitchen and a separate utility room.
Externally, the project included a new patio area with retaining walls and steps, completing the space. Final finishes included kitchen installation, timber flooring, and tiling, delivering a high-quality, functional result.
